Adam de Cruz
Self-taught makeup artist Adam De Cruz began his career assisting Val Garland and Pat McGrath on the international show circuit, before moving into the music industry, working with artists including Róisín Murphy and Alicia Keys, touring with the latter in the early 2000s.
His work spans leading editorial titles including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, 10 Magazine, Numéro and L’Officiel, alongside contributions to The Times and The Guardian.
De Cruz is recognised for his refined, minimal aesthetic: centred on clean, luminous skin with subtle, unexpected detail.
His client roster includes Kristin Scott Thomas and Erin O’Connor, and he has collaborated with brands such as Burberry, as well as industry figures including Nick Knight and Miranda Almond.
