Jemma’s interest in make-up was sparked by her experience of both modelling and fashion shoot styling. While attending Glauca Rossi makeup school in London, she was given the opportunity to be a first assistant to international make-up artist Mary Greenwell. This provided an intensive hands-on training that prepared the way for her future career.

Excellent at public speaking, Jemma is continuously asked to take part in global seminars and forums for beauty brands. Considered as a leading industry voice Jemma has been brand ambassador for many leading beauty giants including Max Factor, Rimmel, Stila and Astralift. She has also published her own beauty bible “Make-up Secrets” By Jemma Kidd. Continuously broadening her creativity not only has Jemma created a successful career as a leading make-up artist she has also collaborated with Belstaff as an accessories design consultant and designed a capsule range of boots for Hunter.

During her career she has worked with the world’s leading photographers including Peter Lindberg, Paolo Roversi, David Bailey, Rankin, Elaine Constantine, Bryan Adams, Mary McCartney and the late Lord Litchfield. Jemma has also worked with a host of prestigious magazine titles such as Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Vanity Fair, W Magazine, i-D, Glamour, ELLE, GQ, Tatler and Sunday Times Style.

Jemma has worked with leading Hollywood A-listers; including Sienna Miller, Joely Richardson, Diane Kruger and Colin Firth; and fashion industry favorites such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Erin O'Connor, Liberty Ross, Laura Bailey and Jerry Hall.
